The Vienna Vegetable Orchestra, from the
[ aquarius records new arrivals list #169 ]: "all the sounds on this record are produced or played on actual vegetables (slightly modified for playability of course). The Vienna Vegetable Orchestra, is in fact a small-ish ensemble, that customizes vegetables, and then composes scores to be played on those very same vegetables. That's right, composed! All of the music is composed and notated just like regular musical scores, except in this case they are scored for radisynth (radish), digiginger (ginger), vegital synthesizer (?), soundseeds (?) and all sorts of customized carrots, tomatoes, peppers and some completely unrecognizable vegetables."
