what is reality?

Celebrities connected with sound recordings named to the 2005 National Recording Registry are, from left, Peter Bergman and Phil Proctor from the Firesign Theater; Robert Hendrix, cousin of jazz musician Jimi Hendrix; Martha Reeves of Martha and the Vandellas; Librarian James H. Billington, who announced the registry additions in the Members Room on April 11; and David Ossman, of the Firesign Theater. The Firesign Theater comedians enacted a scene from their 1970 recording, “Don’t Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers.” Jimi Hendrix’s 1967 recording “Are You Experienced?” entered the registry, as did the 1964 recording of “Dancing in the Street,” by Martha and the Vandellas.
