semi-abandoned because, despite many rooms exposed to the elements and mold-ridden like this, there were signs of life: some rooms were locked with blinds down; other exposed rooms showed evidence of contractors (beyond the measly bag of mortar seen above); one room had a cleanish bed laid out that we suspected was being used by a prostitute; and most unusually, the pool out back was filled and chlorinated.
